艾倫跟隨歐美人士的腳步，也在聖誕、新年假期安排到溫暖的泰國度假，
在10天9夜的假期當中，住宿地點的安排的確很頭疼，此次旅行是以曼谷為主要根據地，
並安排兩次短途、短期的小旅行，分別前往安帕瓦（AMPHAWA）水上市場及沙美島（Koh Samet），這兩地的住宿普遍以WALK IN方式，較不流行事先網路預定，
講到這沙美島的住宿地點，完全不在我們事前的準備功課中出現過，
這間飯店就像島上其它春筍般正興建中的飯店一樣，是剛冒出來的，
下了渡船一上岸，便開始步行尋找住宿地點，約步行30分鐘後，
便找著了這家不錯的新飯店Samed Pavilion Resort，我們選擇Deluxe Room Type A房型，
每晚房價2,500THB（約同NT$2,500），沙美島住宿價格有日益升高趨勢，有點偏高了。

從飯店專屬步道到Ao Phai海灘僅需30秒，沿著沙灘往北僅需10分鐘可走到沙美島最熱鬧的Hat Sai Kaew海灘，可謂鬧中取靜又便利的住宿點。
